Joe Lieberman Concedes to Lamont
Three term Senator Joe Lieberman conceded the Connecticut Democratic primary Tuesday to newcomer Ned Lamont.
Lieberman vowed that he would continue to seek his Connecticut Senate seat by running as an independaent candidate.
Senator Lieberman’s support for the war in Iraq gave detractors a rallying point on which to attack the the former Vice Presidential candidate.
